Ashtail gazed out at the surface of the water. The rainbow coloured fish darted through the water beside Ashtail's paws, and he dipped his dark paw in the water, giggling as the fish bumped into the paw and tickled him. He looked upat the stars, the light of them shining in his own eyes. "Thank you, StarClan." He whispered to the stars sparkling in the velvet sky. "At last, I'm medicine cat. Thank you so much," He rose to his paws. Happiness swelled in his chest. He had never felt joy so strong. He leapt up into the air, bouncing around and mewing to himself, pouncing on every leaf he saw. Then he bounded home.
